Disability Evaluations

ForPsych is one of the largest providers of consultative examinations in the state of Ohio. We routinely assess an individual’s emotional, behavioral, interpersonal, intellectual, and academic functioning, as they relate to one’s ability to complete work-related tasks. We also provide evaluations for private insurance carriers, including short-term and long-term disability. At ForPsych, we recognize that diagnosis alone is not sufficient to establish impairments or need for work restrictions. Rather, diagnosis is simply the first step. Our comprehensive approach provides insight into the impact of that psychological condition on a person’s ability to understand work instructions, maintain concentration and task persistence, interact appropriately with others, and manage work-related stressors.
